Tree Planting!!!

back...!!! had really nice weekend.. on 070907.. went capertree valley for a 3days 2 night camp.. the purpose was to help in tree planting.. to keep exotic birds from extinction... real meaningful i felt.. 1600 trees were planted..a sense of satisfaction!!! nv in my life, will i get to plant trees back in SG.. haaa.. land is insufficient even for people to live.. where on earth can u plant trees and keep their life going??? ahaaa..went bush walkin on the 2nd day... tough hike at intial but it was challenging... 3 gave up halfway... but i told myself..to perserve!! guess wat!!! the view fr top the mountain was soo genuine and real... it's so wonderful to be alive!!!!

went thru the whole night of revision.. eyes are beginnin to shut down.. but still i must share what i saw today..!!13 chaps was tested for today's 1.5hrs quiz...its was hectic..off i went quiz with whatever i could rem..paper was slightly off expectation as time wasn't sufficient for me to finish.. sianz..nevertheless, tried my best to write whatever i could rem... jus as i was thinkin real hard... i saw 2 idiots openly cheating wif their whole set of notes on the table..!!! and copyin the answers directly onto their papers!!! nv in my life, i ever saw such situation durin my years of schoolin..and nw i got to witness this 'terrible act' in my uni life... OMG! i was fuming! hw can do such things.. ?? was pretty emotional and got distracted that i couldn't concentrate on my paper liao..others were bz writin, so i went wif the flow...yet keep askin myself... am i the one to see it? hw will others react and feel? it was damn obvious...i understand that we might have tendency
to glance... but WTF.. u got all the notes and copied directly...!! when i am down here squeezin my brain juice, to recap wat i studied for the entire night.. doing Masters and here u r cheating..is this hw they got their degree thru disgraceful acts?? where's personal intergrity gone to??

Bodhi Nite 07

went to an interestin performance...organised by Unibuds in sch..quite a huge event, i guess.. even Aussies were there..dinner was provided, tasted great! maybe too long din eat vegeterian liao..haa..basically, i enjoyed the sketches (bickering couple, biggest present in the world), raps (lean on me) and animations(teddy & little ger).. tonight's theme was 'The Invisible Grasp" and HAPPINESS is achieved when one learns to let go of this 'invisible grasp' I did realise some stuff that was overlooked before..there's also this phase that hit me.."Love is giving, not taking".. OMG, been taking fr my parents for 24yrs of my life...it's time to shower them wif LOVE when i am back!! An enlightening night!

Tired and Lazy...

my messy table now... tired tired... wk5 of my school and i am startin to feel nw..at this moment.. quiz is on week 6.. and i had been up till 5am for 3 consecutive days... hardworkin?? NOPE!!! jus lazing taking my own sweet time.. progress is terribly slow... readin makes me sleeepy!!!anyone can advise a helpless ger not to doze off after few sentences of browsing..! SHARKS!! i am not payin to slack here..keep dwelllin these words into my lazy brain!! a friend once told me.. "Every step,be it huge or little, is considered progressing..." did make me feel soo much better, but deep down..i am jus findin excuses for myself... did i forget my purpose and aim here? i am jus letting my family and friends down by being lazy...shit! "Study hard and do us proud" thats wat they said at the departure gate...and nw.. i am slacking..rest assured this wont for long.., i promised... 4 wks of honeymoon has ended! my battle has started but jus slow...tryin to find the momentum and keep it goin strong...and i will find it SOON!!

Cold & Rainy.. yet my heart feels warm!

Haven been rainin since the day i arrived, but it jus did today... and lasted the entire day... cold wind blew all over the hse..the way fr my room to washroom seems long and chilling, even tile floors were icy cold!! :S as usual, i read wynn's blog to keep me updated abt my godson.. at her blog, i saw this interestin blogger: 8ladies8stories.. i clicked to enter, but din manage to enter...so i posted a shout out at her blog.. and requested for user to add me...then she exclaimed! "Elaine, didnt u receive the email? That's Our Blog....! Gosh, our blog... i have a grp blog...and i didnt realise at all...! hahahaa....

Happy Belated Bday SG...

Time flies, its been a mth plus that i am here...friends had told me to remove my blog as i dont do updates haha.. true enough, there wasn't interestin events for me to write on too...shops close early.. and i dun even dare to step outside my hse.. after 9..where can i go? really miss the days that i can be out in SG till late nights...shopping, movies, pubbing...nevertheless, i manage to catch a glimps of NDP07 on webcast..its was on the biggest floating stage... !! well, i dun usually watch it in SG loh.. jus feel its the same every yr.. perhaps it's a fresh idea to catch it overseas, i guess....this my country, this is my home..this is my future.. this is my life.... haha..jus saw my buddy's blog... sometime in oct, she's becomin a mummy..cant wait for her 'libran' baby yeo to be born..shld be as cute as me lah... cos i am the big libran and he's the little haaa..

Hey everyone, i am back....! its been almost 6mths, that i left my blog hanging..haha.. of cos, was also bz, preparing myself for a better fight!
my current location is in NSW, Syd, took my first flight alone on 11jul 07, and my journey begins.....times were tough for few days in searching for accomodation... no one waits for u here.. good locations were like hot pancakes.. now u see it, now u dun.. !! was down for 3 days, cant even eat a proper meal... till the wonderful day came... i got my little cosy room..via a friend!! next was getting used to the coldest winter in 20yrs! cold nights wif hungry stomach...even felt like this SG? uh uh.. *shakes*... stories and unfinished stories... of cos not forgetting my wonderful moments too... enjoy!
